Legal Clinic in EU Environmental Law – publications

Inaugurated in 2024, the Legal Clinic in EU Environmental Law at the University of Roma Tre offers students with some background in EU law the opportunity to do legal research and write opinions on real questions relating to the interpretation and implementation of EU Environmental Law.

In its first edition (2024), the Legal Clinic provided advice to the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security on the topics of End of Waste, Dredging and Public Participation.

In the second edition (2025), the Legal Clinic partnered with the Italian NGOs WeWorld and A Sud, drafting the following legal opinions:

  • The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (Eu) 2024/1760 (CSDDD) and the Agri-Food Sector, available here;
  • Public Participation in the Preparation of the Italian National Energy and Climate Plan (Piano Nazionale Integrato Energia e Clima, PNIEC), available here.
